Are you experiencing symptoms of menopause and have questions? Or are you wondering if you’re in perimenopause? The transition through menopause is an individual experience full of changes. We will review the basics of menopause before exploring the hormonal shifts and how they impact mood, cognition, skin, vaginal health, hair, health, sexual function, bone health, and quality of life. Learn about evidence-based and naturopathic approaches to managing your symptoms through these years. Diet and lifestyle considerations will be discussed. You will come away feeling less stressed about this important life milestone.

Abby Egginton

Dr. Abby Egginton is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Lexington and Cambridge. She earned her ND from Bastyr University and then completed a residency in Naturopathic Oncology at an Indiana University Cancer Center followed by a fellowship at Bastyr. She is also a registered nurse and has completed advanced training in women's health, homeopathy and craniosacral therapy. Naturopathic medicine works to understand the underlying cause of symptoms and disease and Dr. Egginton partners with her patients to find personalized solutions for lasting wellness. Prior to attending Bastyr, Dr. Abby was a high school science teacher and has continued to enjoy opportunities to provide health education.
