Hooked on Crochet

Adult Enrichment / Fine Arts & Crafts -
Fall 2022

Crochet can be used to make all sorts of fun and retro accessories: hats, scarves, wraps, shrugs, embellishments (flowers, ruffles), bags/purses, and more.

Beginner: This class is for true beginners. Learn basic techniques and stitches, including single and double crochet. Leave with an understanding of how to read patterns, crochet different shapes, increase/decrease stitches, and finish pieces. Tuition includes a $10 materials fee.

Project Workshop: For those with some experience or who have just completed the Beginner class. Get ideas and help starting a new project in a supportive, friendly setting. The instructor will have a variety of patterns to choose from or you can bring your own.

Crochet Circle: Join this relaxed weekly space for crocheters with advanced beginner skills and beyond to gather, work on projects, share ideas, and enjoy conversation and companionship with others. The teacher will provide ongoing assistance, patterns and instruction in crochet techniques as needed. Students signing up for this class should already know single crochet and/or double crochet and be comfortable making a flat piece of crochet. If you have questions about whether or not this class is right for you, please contact ACE.
