Cake Decorating

Fall 2022

Learn to decorate a cake like a pro in these hands-on workshops. In the Level 1 class, start by leveling, filling, and frosting your cake using a delicious pre-made frosting supplied by the instructor. Then practice applying just the right amount of pressure to the decorating bag to pipe stars, rosettes, shells, drop flowers, leaves, and other embellishments. The Level 2 class is for those ready to tackle more advanced piping techniques for flowers, borders, and writing. Leave with your decorated cake and the skills to make a unique custom confection for your next celebration.

Please note: Students will receive icing and tools to use in the class plus instructions and some decorating tools to take home. For students 18+ only.

Level 1: Bring a 7, 8 or 9 inch single layer round UNFROSTED cake to class and a box or cake carrier to transport your finished cake. 

Level 2: Bring a 7, 8 or 9 inch single layer round FROSTED cake on a cake circle to class and a box or cake carrier to transport your finished cake.
