What's Your Story?

Adult Enrichment / Curious Minds -
Fall 2022

Story is everything, and everyone has a story to tell. Get introduced to the art of storytelling structure, and receive tips on how to use humor, build drama, and connect to your audience, as well as how to master body language and personal style. Each participant will have several opportunities to write and tell five and ten-minute true stories, much like the stories from The Moth, and all performances will be followed with in-depth comments and discussion. By the end of the workshop you’ll feel more confident about sharing your stories with the world, whether at work, in a social context, or as a performance. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to practiced storytellers.
