Digital Photography: An Introduction

Adult Enrichment / Fine Arts & Crafts -
Winter 2022

Move off the “auto” setting and learn what your digital camera can do. Explore your camera’s features and menus and then get an overview of the basic elements of photography, including shutter speed, aperture, metering, focus, and ISO speed. We’ll build on these basics, adding lighting and composition, and apply them to photographing common subjects such as portraits and landscapes. Please note: Bring your camera to each class. Camera must have a “manual” mode that allows adjustment of both shutter speed and aperture settings.
